A Yid In The West

A Yid In The West · Yitzchok Grossman

The wait is over.

There's a whole world out of New York: real quality of life, time with your children, and an affordable, meaningful life where you're not just a number.

It's your choice. It's your life. Make it happen.

“I spent time in New York and really got to learn what's going through people's minds. People literally cried to me. They wish they could do this.”

Yitzchok Grossman, A Yid In The West

Why move out?

Life out of town isn't a dream. It's a choice.

The sun rising over the mountains above a sea of clouds

Sunrise, five minutes away

“You could just wake up, go on a hike and watch a beautiful sunrise five minutes away from your house.”

A palm tree against an orange sunset

Time with your children

“Over here you get real quality of life, spend time with your children.” Less traffic, less rushing, more of what matters.

Affordable & meaningful

“Live a real, affordable, meaningful life.” Room to breathe, room to grow, room for your family.

You're not just a number

“You're actually a real person in the community, part of building something amazing.”

Life out of the city

Wake up to this.

Calm mornings, open space, green parks, quiet lakes and sunsets you never get tired of, at a cost of living that lets your family breathe.

Desert buttes under a glowing sunset
A sunset every evening
Red rocks and green desert under a blue sky
Room to breathe
Morning mist settling on a calm lake lined with trees

The honest part

No, it's not New York.

And it's not supposed to be. Out of town, you're not waiting for everything to be there already. You're part of building it. Those who sit and wait for it to happen without them… that's exactly why it isn't happening for them.

Think about it. It's Erev Shabbos and your wife can't make the food. Are you going to just wait around? No. You figure it out. Same here: if you're not happy where you're living, get up and do something.

“The best time to plant a tree was 15 years ago. The second best time is right now.”

So, I challenge you: do something about it today.

Where could you go?

There's more than one answer.

On the channel we visit growing frum communities outside the city and ask the people who made the move how it really is.

Where I live

Neve Chaim · Casa Grande, Arizona

This is my home. A young, warm frum community in Casa Grande, between Phoenix and Tucson, building its shul, its mosad and its future together. Sunshine, open space, and Yidden who actually know each other.

If you want to see it with your own eyes, come for a Shabbos.

Who am I?

Shalom aleichem, I'm Yitzchok.

I moved out of New York about five years ago, and I live in Casa Grande, Arizona. A Yid In The West is where I share what life out of town really looks like, the good and the challenges, so you can make the choice that's right for your family.

I'm here to support your journey. If you want help, reach out to me.

Thinking about moving out? Let's talk.

No pressure, no sales pitch. Tell me a little about your family and what you're looking for, and I'll get back to you.

It's your choice. It's your life. Make it happen.
